New story, new characters, but keep the same core values
The plot change is the game’s biggest feature. It would have nothing to argue about if the game follows the original story of The Walking Dead. It was because Telltale decided. Unlike the cinematic version, The Walking Dead: Season One for handsets has very fast and thrilling gameplay. As you log into the game, just 10 minute after the intro, our main character – Lee Everett has already faced the walking corpse. After that, when looking for help, Lee meets his savior – Clementine, a 9 years old girl who lives nearby. Then, the journey of the two officially start with countless difficulties and dangers waiting ahead.
The game’s core values are highlighted because it requires the player to make a decision, it could be a conversation with another NPC or actions with the zombie. Tolerance, help, selfishness or lies all depend on the player’s choice. The NPCs will remember the player’s actions or words as Lee Everret and then bring the story to many different endings. Lee and Clementine’s journey highlights the individual characteristics and experience of each character in the player’s mind. You will realise, in order to survive in such a bloodthirsty post-apocalyptic world, they all have to possess qualities such as solidarity, courage and sometimes determination and ruthlessness.
Pay-to-play game but is it worth it?
The Walking Dead: Season One MOD APK even though it is free to download and experience, it is a pay-to-play game. But the question is “Is it worth it?” The answer is absolutely yes. It takes a small charge of approximately 5 dollar to unlock an episode, so in total 25 bucks to play all episodes of the game, including the special one. Frankly, it is an acceptable price for a game of this quality compared to the story and the values it brings. For zombie fans and especially The Walking Dead fans, this game is a “must-try”, but for people who does not know or like zombies, it is totally worth of time to experience it even just the first, free-to-play episode of the game.
